Jorge Castillo Sepúlveda holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Santiago de Chile, a Master’s degree in Research in Social Psychology and a PhD in Social Psychology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is a lecturer at the School of Psychology at the University of Santiago de Chile, and a member of the European Association for the Study of Science and Technology (EASST), the Society for Social Studies of Science (4S) and the Chilean Network for the Study of Science, Technology and Society (CTS). He has participated as Principal Investigator and Co-investigator in various projects that explore the interplay between health, medicine, space, materiality and time, particularly from the perspective of Actor-Network Theory. He has published in various national and international books and journals, including Social Studies of Science, Athenea Digital and Saúde e Sociedade, amongst others.
