Cristina Moyano Barahona es Doctora en Historia, mención Historia de Chile, por la Universidad de Chile. Académica del Departamento de Historia de la Universidad de Santiago de Chile y, desde el año 2021, Decana de la Facultad deHumanidades.Actualmente es también Investigadora Responsable del ProyectoFondecyt Regular N° 1230241, titulado "Militancias y generaciones políticas: Hacia una biografía colectiva de las Juventudes Comunistas de Chile (1990-2010)".
